What Is Mesotherapy?

Mesotherapy involves administering micro-injections of a customised cocktail of ingredients into the superficial layers of the skin.
Depending on your skin goals, the formula may include:

  • hyaluronic acid (for hydration)

  • vitamins (A, C, E, B-complex)

  • peptides

  • minerals

  • amino acids

  • antioxidants

  • skin-restoring boosters

The treatment is safe, minimally invasive and designed to nourish the skin from within.

Mesotherapy is NOT filler — it does not change facial shape.
Instead, it improves skin quality.

Who Is Mesotherapy For?

This treatment is ideal if you want to improve:

  • dehydrated or dull skin

  • fine lines and early signs of ageing

  • uneven skin texture

  • tired, stressed-looking skin

  • loss of elasticity

  • under-eye tiredness (depending on product)

  • mild pigmentation

  • skin lacking brightness or glow

  • post-travel tired skin

Suitable for most skin types, including thin, delicate or mature skin.

What Areas Can Be Treated?

  • face

  • under-eye area

  • neck

  • décolletage

  • hands

  • specific areas needing hydration or rejuvenation

How Mesotherapy Works

The treatment uses tiny micro-injections to deliver active ingredients into the dermis — the layer where collagen, hydration and elasticity are maintained.

Mesotherapy supports the skin by:

  • increasing hydration

  • improving microcirculation

  • stimulating collagen production

  • strengthening the skin barrier

  • improving elasticity

  • reducing dullness

  • enhancing radiance

Depending on your skin goals, I may use:

  • manual injections

  • mesotherapy gun (if preferred)

  • or nappage technique (multiple light injections)

Benefits of Mesotherapy

  • deeply hydrated, plump skin

  • noticeable glow

  • improved smoothness and texture

  • reduced fine lines

  • brighter, fresher appearance

  • healthier skin barrier

  • improved elasticity

  • improved under-eye hydration (specific products)

Results vary depending on your skin condition, lifestyle and chosen formula.

What to Expect During Your Treatment

  • Consultation to discuss your skin concerns

  • Selection of mesotherapy cocktail based on your needs

  • Gentle cleansing and skin preparation

  • Micro-injections across treatment area

  • Calming products applied after the session

  • Guidance on aftercare and recommended frequency

The treatment is quick and well-tolerated.

Recovery & Aftercare

You may experience:

  • mild redness

  • small bumps (“meso papules”)

  • slight tenderness

These usually settle within 24–48 hours.

Avoid for 24 hours:

  • makeup

  • gym

  • sauna

  • alcohol

  • touching the face unnecessarily

Full aftercare will be explained during your visit.

How Many Sessions Are Recommended?

For best results:

  • 3–6 sessions, spaced 1–2 weeks apart

  • followed by maintenance every 2–3 months

Many clients see visible glow after one session, especially when skin is dehydrated.

Skin Concerns This Treatment Can Help With

  • Dehydrated, tight or “flat” looking skin (supports hydration and glow)
  • Dull / tired-looking complexion (improves the look of radiance)
  • Fine lines and early signs of ageing (softens the appearance of fine lines)
  • Loss of firmness / elasticity (supports a plumper-looking finish)
  • Uneven skin texture (smoother-looking skin surface)
  • Enlarged pores / rough skin texture (refines the look of pores)
  • Tired-looking under-eye area (only if you treat this zone)
  • Neck & décolletage “crepey” look (if you treat these areas)
  • Hands looking dry / aged (if you treat hands)

FAQ

Mesotherapy is a skin-revitalising treatment where small amounts of active ingredients (most often hydrating and nourishing) are delivered into the superficial layers of the skin using micro-injections. The goal is to improve the look of skin quality: hydration, glow, smoothness and overall freshness.

Most commonly:

  • Face
  • Neck
  • Décolletage
  • (In some cases) under-eye area and hands — if suitable for your skin and included in your treatment plan.

It’s a great option if your skin looks:

  • dehydrated, tight or “flat”
  • dull or tired-looking
  • less smooth in texture
  • affected by early fine lines (appearance-focused)

Not really — for most people it’s almost painless.

I apply a numbing cream before the treatment, so you usually feel only light pinches or mild stinging in more sensitive areas.

  1. Short consultation and skin check
  2. Cleanse and disinfect the area
  3. Numbing cream (left on to work properly)
  4. Micro-injections with the chosen product
  5. Skin soothing and clear aftercare instructions

24–48 hours before

  • Avoid alcohol (it can increase redness and bruising)
  • If you can, avoid very intense workouts the day before
  • Don’t use strong actives like retinoids/retinol, acids, or harsh exfoliants

On the day

  • Come with clean skin (no make-up if possible)
  • Don’t attend if you feel unwell, have a fever, or have an active skin infection/inflammation in the treatment area

Important: medications and medical history

  • Tell me if you take blood thinners, have a bleeding/clotting disorder, autoimmune conditions, or a history of significant allergies.
  • Do not stop prescribed medication unless your doctor has told you to.

First 24 hours

  • Don’t touch, rub or massage the treated area
  • Avoid make-up ideally for 24 hours (minimum: until the skin feels calm)
  • Avoid sauna, hot baths, steam rooms and intense workouts
  • Avoid alcohol

48–72 hours

  • Avoid retinol, acids, strong peels, and “active” serums
  • Use gentle cleansing + calming hydration

SPF matters

  • Wear SPF and avoid direct sun exposure while the skin is settling.

It’s common to experience:

  • redness
  • mild swelling
  • small injection marks (“tiny dots”)
  • occasional bruising
Most of this settles within 24–72 hours (bruising can last a bit longer).

Some people notice a fresher glow within a few days, but the best results usually build gradually as the skin recovers and improves in quality.

It depends on your skin and your goal. Many clients choose a short course of sessions, then maintenance. I’ll recommend a realistic plan after assessing your skin.

Usually yes. However, if you have an important event, it’s smart to book ahead in case you experience redness or small bruises.

Mesotherapy may not be suitable if you have:

  • fever, active infection, or you feel unwell
  • active cold sores (herpes) or inflamed skin in the area
  • pregnancy or breastfeeding (injectables are usually avoided)
  • certain medical conditions or medications that increase bruising/infection risk
I will always screen this in your consultation.

Most are mild and temporary:

  • redness, tenderness
  • swelling
  • bruising
  • itching or tightness

If you experience unusual or worsening symptoms (increasing pain, heat, spreading redness, discharge, fever, or any vision changes), seek medical advice urgently.
