Juvéderm® are temporary hyaluronic acid facial fillers, which are smooth and long-lasting. Young skin is constantly moisturised from within by Hyaluronic Acid, a protein found between the cells of all living organisms and is a component of Collagen. Hyaluronic acid absorbs moisture and keeps your skin well hydrated for a youthful look.
Hyaluronic Acid levels naturally decrease as we age resulting in the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Some lines become wrinkles due to outside factors like sun exposure, diet and years of facial muscle movement. Fat loss can create sagging and turn lines into facial folds, too.
Fillers can be used to fill out facial lines, wrinkles and creases as well as increase volume and definition of the lips and cheeks.
Innovative Juvéderm® Vycross® fillers enable your practitioner to better manipulate the product for very natural facial shaping. They also have a smoother consistency and can last longer than traditional HA fillers.

How does it work?
Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring substance within the body, which is found in the dermis (lower skin levels), it helps to keep skin smooth and hydrated. Hyaluronic Acid levels naturally decrease as we age, resulting in visible signs of ageing (sunken cheeks, lines, wrinkles, lips lose fullness).
Many moisturisers contain hyaluronic acid, but facial fillers containing hyaluronic acid, like Juvéderm®, are the only way to replenish the hyaluronic acid deep within the skin. Juvéderm® fillers mimic the body’s natural depleted hyaluronic acid. Once injected the fillers provide support and structure to the skin, giving a plumped and more youthful appearance.
I only use certified Juvéderm® Ultra, Juvéderm® Volift, Juvéderm® Volbella and Juvéderm® Voluma fillers. Our practitioners go through extensive and regular training with the product manufacturers and specialists in the aesthetic field.
Juvéderm® Vycross® fillers (Volift®, Volbella®, Voluma®) have different molecular make-up to other more traditional fillers. 90% of their content is low-molecular-weight Hyaluronic Acid meaning the solution integrates fully into the skin and is more mouldable to the facial contours for the most natural-looking results possible. In comparison, traditional fillers are made with 100% high-molecular-weight hyaluronic acid meaning they are heavier and can’t be manipulated as easily.
What can I expect in the treatment?
The smooth consistency of the products in the Juvéderm® range allows your medical practitioner to administer them easily and smoothly. They also contain 0.3% lidocaine to reduce injection pain, for a more comfortable treatment experience.
The filler gel is injected under the skin in the target area using a fine needle. The gel will then fill facial lines and wrinkles or adds subtle volume.
Are there any side effects?
As a non-invasive solution to ageing skin, there is no downtime associated with this treatment.
Immediately after treatment, you may see some redness and swelling at the injection site and it may feel tender to touch. These side effects typically disappear within 24 hours. Some clients experience temporary bruising in the week following.
Vycross® fillers provide natural facial shaping and are virtually painless due to its smoother consistency and anaesthetic ingredients. This results in little bruising and swelling so downtime is little to none.
How many treatments would I need?
In your initial consultation, your practitioner will determine how much filler (mls) and which filler product will be needed to achieve your desired results. Once this has been established you should be able to have the procedure in a single treatment.
Further treatments will be required to maintain results every 9-12 months as the filler product breaks down.
What results can I expect to see?
Juvéderm® fillers mimic the lifting effect of your skin’s natural hyaluronic acid to keep the skin hydrated and elastic. The effects of the filler treatment can last between 6 months and 12 months depending on the type of product I use.

Arriving For Your Appointment
Please don’t arrive early for your appointment as there is limited seating facilities. Extra time has been allowed between appointments to allow me to ensure all surfaces are sanitised between clients.
Cancellation and Rescheduling – General Information
Cancellation by You
I believe in having a simple, clear policy when it comes to cancellation and rescheduling of appointments. This helps prevent any confusion. Please note that using social media (Facebook, Instagram etc) is not acceptable as a suitable method of cancelling or rescheduling your appointment. You should cancel or reschedule using the booking system or if that is not possible, by telephoning me or sending me an email.
You must give at least 48-hours’ notice. Failure to attend an appointment will be charged at full price, with no refund available.
Cancellation by London Massage 4U
In the unfortunate event that I have to cancel your appointment, I will give you as much advance warning as possible. Where possible, you will be able to reschedule your appointment for a later date, or if that is not possible, a full refund will be offered.
Contraindications
You cannot receive massage therapy if you:
● Have eaten a heavy meal within two hours of the start of your therapy session.
● Consumed alcohol or non-prescribed drugs before or directly after massage.
● Are extremely weak or clinically exhausted with influenza or any viral illness.
Have a high temperature or infectious disease including infectious skin conditions.
● Have serious medical conditions such as cancer, serious heart disorder, stomach ulcers or other ailments of the internal organs.
● Have had major surgery in the last 12 months or minor surgery in the last 6 months.
● If you are pregnant, I am unable to offer any treatments.
On your first meeting with me, I will require you to complete a short questionnaire so that I have a full understanding of any health-related matters which may affect the massage treatment provided.
